Learn moreIs the training recognized by the BSP?No. EP1, EP2 and EP3 are specialized executive protection training programs. They do not replace any training or licence required by the Bureau de la sécurité privée (BSP) to perform regulated private security activities in Quebec.
Can I enroll without previous experience?Yes. EP1 is open to beginners who meet the admission requirements. EP2 and EP3 progressively develop more advanced executive protection skills.
Is the training primarily practical?Yes. Our approach consists of approximately 60% practical training and 40% applied theory, including immersive exercises and scenarios in urban environments throughout Montreal.
Do I need to be bilingual to work in executive protection?French and English are important assets in Quebec, particularly for executive protection assignments involving national or international clients.
Will I get a job after completing the training?Employment is not guaranteed. Successful completion of a module leads to an EP1, EP2 or EP3 Certificate, while recruitment for professional assignments is handled through a separate selection process.
Certain candidates may be considered or recommended for opportunities that match their experience, licences and professional skills.
Does the training include firearms?No. Our program is designed around the realities of executive protection in Canada and focuses on anticipation, planning, mobility, communication and the protection of people.
Do you offer training outside Montreal?Regular training sessions are held in Montreal. Private and group training may also be organized elsewhere in Canada based on client or organizational requirements.
